equality

Last week, i was in modesto california, while i was in 6th street and I street, walking by. I couldnt help but to see so many homeless walking and sitting down in the floor and asking people for money. So it occured to me, to greet one and buy him some food instead of giving him/her money. i bought the food, he didnt say thank you at all, so i was guessing that his parents never taught him any morrals. i could see that i made a difference in his life, you could tell by his smile. i felt good because i helped someone, even though i didnt really do much. question is, "what would you do if you had the power to change someone else's life? would you do it.? would you let that person be responsible for himself/herself and let them get to something, let them acquire something without no help? in a world where people are born with advantages over other, where i didnt choose to be poor but i was born into this situation. where a rich man inherited their family's values, money, and reputation. a world where we are all equal would be a better place, a more successfull place. where people dont have advantages over others. where we would equally work hard to acquire something in life. where we dont have much competition. the world would be a better place.

sincerely,
